In conjunction with World Environment Day 2025, an inspiring event was successfully held at Atria Shopping Gallery jointly organised by OSK Foundation and Global Environment Centre (GEC), in collaboration with Atria Shopping Gallery and OSK Property.

A total of 25 participants took part in the engaging, hands-on workshops focusing on composting and upcycling. The event began with a welcoming remarks by Ms. Cheryl, CEO of OSK Foundation, followed by an eye-opening talk on “Waste to Wealth” delivered by Dr. Kalithasan from GEC.

Adding to the day’s momentum, Mr. Sathis led an insightful session on The Art of Recycling, conducted alongside KLEAN and Tetra Pak, where participants learned the correct methods of waste segregation and recycling. The workshop continued with practical, creative activities that encouraged participants to rethink waste in new ways.

To keep the energy high, the event also featured snake and ladder games, fun quizzes, exciting prizes, and eco-friendly giveaways to encourage participants to adopt more sustainable habits in their everyday lives.
