STATION AQUATIC LIFE

River Barb
Wind Chime Island, is a small island located in the middle of the main lake of Cyberjaya Lake Gardens and forms an important part of the lake ecosystem. The island can be an observation point to observe how lake ecosystem provides habitats for many plants and animals, including fish, insects and microorganisms . These organisms depend on the movement of lake water and seasonal changes to survive and reproduce.
The calm and moderately deep water around the island support photosynthesis by aquatic plants and phytoplankton, which form the base of the lake food chain. Submerged and floating plants offer shelter and breeding areas for small aquatic animals. They also help filter extra nutrients from the water and improve overall water quality.
