STATION NATURAL BIOTIC
The naturally preserved wetland in Cyberjaya Lake Gardens serves as a hydrological transition zone, facilitating the flow of water from the main lake into the wetland system. This wetland supports native trees, shrubs, and ground-cover vegetation adapted to damped soil and wet climate, making it excellent place to observe wetland plants species and explore wetland ecology.
Flowing water creates habitats for amphibians, insects, small fish, and small mammals, while the surrounding vegetation helps reduces soil erosion, absorbs rainwater, and maintains moisture within the ecosystem. These features work together to sustain a healthy and balanced wetland environment.
Along the boardwalk, visitors may encounter species such as the Slender pitcher plant, Shrubby Dillenia, Climbing Swamp Fern and Malabar Melastome. This area plays a key role in nature education and biodiversity conservation, helping visitors understand wetland functions and appreciate its rich variety of plants and animals found within this ecosystem.
