STATION ANIMAL SPOTTING
The secondary forest of Cyberjaya Lake Gardens showcases rich variety of biodiversity. Visitors may observe birds, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and numerous insects through direct sightings, distinctive calls and footprints along the educational trail walk.
The shrubs, young saplings, forest floor vegetation, fallen leaves, and decaying wood create essential microhabitats that provide shelter, nesting sites, and food for many organisms, these natural features also form wildlife pathways and serve as ecological buffers that link surrounding green spaces.
Among the notable species found here are the Long-tailed Macaque which listed as Endangered (EN) on the IUCN Red List. The forest canopy is primarily composed of tree species such as Common Pulai, Laurel Wood and other species. Along this walkway, visitors may also encounter, Plantain Squirrel, Stripe-throated bulbul, or White-throated kingfisher, offering diverse opportunities to explore and learn about the ecosystem within Cyberjaya Lake Gardens.
